Dave Read is a dedicated in demand musician who engages his audience in a variety of music for many occasions. Extremely versatile, his repretorie ranges from classical guitar for wedding ceremonies and receptions, cocktail hours and dinners to popular rock, blues, country and reggae for backyard parties, Jersey Shore gigs, birthday parties and even Hawaiian luau (he plays ukulele). What most distinguishes Dave is that people just joyously sing along with him! You will have a great time!

Dave has a Bachelor’s Degree of Music Education from The College of New Jersey with his focus on classical guitar studies. He has studied jazz guitar. He is a certified music teacher for grades K-12 and currently teaches music in a local public school. Dave also has been teaching private music instruction for guitar, ukulele, piano, voice and harmonica at Dave Phillips Music and Sound for 21 years.

Dave has recently written and recorded several original compositions. He has recently performed on FM radio WDVR 89.7 in Seargentsville and 91.9 in Priceton. He also has performed for The Arts Council of Princeton in Princeton, N.J. and for The Riverside Festival of the Arts in Phillipsburg, N.J. and Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA.
